1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Skills For Life Foundation website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

Skills For Life Foundation is a Yayasan (foundation) established under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, in accordance with Law No. 16 of 2001 on Foundations (Undang-Undang Yayasan), as amended by Law No. 28 of 2004. The foundation operates exclusively for social, educational, and humanitarian purposes and does not distribute profits to its founders or management.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, donors, and others who access or use our services.

2. Our Services

Skills For Life Foundation provides the following services through our website:

• Information about our foundation and mission
• Online donation processing via Xendit
• Event ticket sales (including the Fundraising Gala) via Megatix Indonesia
• Sponsorship opportunities

When you click through to Xendit or Megatix, you leave the Skills For Life Foundation website. Your transactions on those platforms are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time without prior notice.

3. Donations

Processing

All donations are processed securely through Xendit, a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant Indonesian payment gateway. By making a donation, you confirm that:

• You are authorized to use the payment method provided
• The information you provide is accurate and complete
• You understand the donation is for charitable and educational purposes
• You agree to Xendit's Terms and Conditions

Use of Donations

All donations are used exclusively for the foundation's stated charitable and educational purposes, including tuition, housing, meals, professional tools, training, certification, and job placement support. In compliance with Indonesian law, we publish annual activity and financial reports and provide donation receipts upon request.

Refund Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 30 days at support@skillsforlifebeautyschool.foundation. Refund requests are handled at the foundation's discretion. Processing fees are non-refundable in all cases.

Tax Deductibility

Skills For Life Foundation is a Yayasan registered under Indonesian law. Under Government Regulation No. 93 of 2010 (PP 93/2010), donations to Indonesian foundations may be tax-deductible for Indonesian taxpayers when they fall within specific categories, including education facilities and social infrastructure, subject to a maximum deduction of 5% of the donor's net income from the previous tax year.

For international donors, donations to an Indonesian Yayasan are generally not tax-deductible in your home country unless specific bilateral arrangements apply. We recommend consulting your tax advisor for guidance based on your jurisdiction.

4. Ticket Purchases

Purchase Terms

Ticket sales for Skills For Life Foundation events are processed through Megatix Indonesia, a third-party ticketing platform. By purchasing tickets, you also agree to Megatix's Terms and Conditions. When purchasing tickets:

• All sales are final — no refunds for change of mind or change in circumstances
• Tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise specified by the event organizer
• You must present valid identification matching the ticket holder name
• We reserve the right to refuse entry to any attendee

Event Cancellation

In the event of cancellation by Skills For Life Foundation, ticket refunds will be processed through Megatix to the original payment method. Booking and processing fees are non-refundable. We are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs.

Event Rescheduling

If an event is rescheduled, tickets remain valid for the new date. No refunds will be issued for rescheduled events.

Event Changes

We reserve the right to make changes to event details, including but not limited to venue, date, time, and program. Significant changes will be communicated to ticket holders promptly.

5. User Conduct

When using our website and services, you agree not to:

• Use the services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Transmit any viruses or malicious code
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our website
• Collect or store personal data about other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use automated systems to access our services without permission

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Skills For Life Foundation or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

The Skills For Life name and logo are trademarks of the foundation and may not be used without prior authorization.

7. Disclaimers

Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or completeness of information

We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Skills For Life Foundation is not responsible for any technical issues, payment processing errors, or data handling by Xendit or Megatix.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indonesian law, Skills For Life Foundation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to:

• Your use or inability to use our services
• Any errors or omissions in our content
• Unauthorized access to your personal information
• Any third-party conduct or content, including actions by Xendit or Megatix

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including but not limited to:

• Law No. 16 of 2001 on Foundations, as amended by Law No. 28 of 2004
• Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP)
• Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE), as amended by Law No. 19 of 2016

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be settled amicably between the parties. If no amicable settlement can be reached within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be referred to and resolved by the District Court of Denpasar (Pengadilan Negeri Denpasar), Bali, Republic of Indonesia.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.

We encourage you to review these terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised.
