The Evening
Join us on April 16th at the Meru Hotel, Bali for an unforgettable evening where craft, culture, and purpose come together in support of the Skills For Life Foundation. Set against the elegance of one of Bali's most iconic venues, the evening will unfold as a celebration of creativity and impact. Guests will enjoy a curated program featuring live entertainment, a Rob Peetoom hair show, a fashion presentation, and a silent auction, all woven into an intimate gala dinner experience.
The evening begins with a welcome reception on the elegant Beach Convention Center of the Meru Hotel. Guests are invited to enjoy welcome drinks and light refreshments while connecting with fellow supporters, sponsors, and members of the Skills For Life community. A moment to arrive, settle in, and set the tone for an unforgettable night.
Founder Rob Peetoom takes the stage to share the story behind Skills For Life, the philosophy of craftsmanship that drives the foundation, and the impact that education has had on the lives of students. A personal reflection on legacy, purpose, and the power of investing in human potential.
An exquisite multi-course dinner is served in the Grand Ballroom, accompanied by live music and curated entertainment. Throughout the meal, guests will hear stories from current students and graduates, offering a firsthand look at the transformation made possible through the foundation.
A highlight of the evening: a live hair show featuring the artistry and technique of the Skills for Life Foundation students, followed by a fashion presentation. This creative showcase celebrates the craft at the heart of the foundation and reflects the level of skill and dedication these students are working towards.
Throughout the evening, guests are invited to explore and bid on exclusive auction items in the Gallery Lounge. From luxury experiences to unique artwork and premium salon services, all proceeds go directly to funding student education, housing, and career placement.
